The Corus Rail group of businesses has announced the establishment of a new Infrastructure Services organisation. The new organisation will bring together the skills and extensive experience of the services businesses within Corus Rail including; Corus Rail Consultancy, Corus Rail Technologies and Corus’ 50% holding in infrastructure maintenance and renewals company, GrantRail. David Marsden will head the new Infrastructure Services organisation. David Marsden joins the Corus Rail senior management team from international rail consultancy Atkins, he brings over 29 years of railway industry experience to Corus, which he will use to further develop this new organisation under a single ‘infrastructure services’ strategy. David will be based in York. Jon Bolton, Managing Director of the Corus Rail group of businesses said, “The establishment of our new ‘infrastructure services’ organisation and appointment of David demonstrates our commitment to developing a strong, competitive ‘services’ portfolio that will complement our already strong rail products.”
