 Modular Construction is a method of building that minimises the amount of construction time in general, but of construction possession time in particular, thereby removing as much risk and uncertainty as possible. The ultimate benefit of modular construction is that the overall cost of construction is reduced whilst the opportunity for new platforms and platform extensions is increased, due to ease and speed advantages. Modular construction itself is not new.
