Corus was commissioned to undertake a feasibility study for a proposed station. The completed feasibility study was based on information from topographical surveys, services searches, ground investigation with input from our electrical, permanent way, civil engineering, architectural, signalling design and quantity surveying teams. Special Features
The proposed works were undertaken in association with Warwickshire County Council who were designing and developing the new highways and car parking facilities for the scheme in this sensitive environmental location. A new pedestrian subway through the existing railway embankment linking the two new high level platforms with the proposed brick built ticket office, trading facilities and station car park formed part of the Planning Permission application. |
