The remit to Corus required the installation of approximately 80m of platform and ramps procured within 5 weeks and installed on the site within 2 weeks. The precise platform location was not determined until 2 weeks before installation. Corus won this contract as the system met and exceeded the entire Client's requirements including the rapid procurement and installation period. Indeed the installation period significantly bettered the project plan, with the platform being substantially complete within 9 days. The system was offered as a complete package with single source responsibility including design. The system offers full adjustability in the horizontal and vertical planes to accommodate differences encountered on site, significant for future track level adjustments or kinematic envelope changes. | |
